Lenses for Canon camcorders.?
Do any of the Canon camcorders( hd or sd) have threading for lens attachements-- telephoto, fish etc?
I like Canon, but the model I was interested in FS 100 does not have threading.
Can a camcorder be attached to a telescope or a microscope or to fiber optics?
OK, yes some do! Like the XH A1, for instance. It accepts a threaded wide angle lens. And I'm fairly sure some of the less costly models do also. As there would be little reason to attach a camcorder to either a telescope, microscope or fiber optics, I'm not saying the don't make attachments, but I will suggest that the market share would be so small, the converter would cost way more than a FS 100.

Recommendations for a digital camera?
My canon's screen died so I want to get a new camera. I was thinking about getting another canon powershot but would like to get other opinions. I heard that the basic powershot has the ability to take pictures through a microscope's lens. Is that true?
Anyways,
I'd like a camera that is easy to use with noticable buttons. I'd like it to have some digital zoom and image stabilizer because I can't hold things still. I really like camera with a high resolution because I love taking pictures of nature and really like clear pictures without most fuss and time wasted. Most importantly, I'd like to stay near $150 at most. suggestions? comments? ty in advance
Canon Elph 100 HS. Fits your requirements and takes very nice pics.
